Techno

Techno is a electronic music genre appeared in November 1974 (with the title "Autobahn" from Kraftwerk) and developed in the 80's in Detroit(Etats-Unis). Most of the time composed in home-studio and replayed by disc-jockeys during parties, it is more than anything else a dance music.
Its first influences were Chicago House music, Electro music, New Wave, Funk and futurist music themes that prevailed in popular culture, especially during the later period of cold war industrial America.
In the 90's, after the initial success of Detroit Techno music which turned into a proper musical culture, a whole subgroup of genres more or less directly related to the initial one, came to the fore globally.
